Rather than just doing a year-in-review next December, I'm going to be recapping the good and the bad from every month this year. I'll also be going over my monthly goals. Alright January, here we go.
*We had a low-key New Year's celebration with mushroom bourguignon and ice cream sandwiches.
*I made another video.
*We enjoyed lots of soup and breakfast burritos.
*We played in the snow on a very snowy Monday morning.
*Our bathtub underwent a magical transformation.
*I celebrated the return of Downton Abbey with several bestie date nights.
*I expressed our frustration and sadness with our baby journey. I was overwhelmed with so much love and support by you all!
*I cut my hair!
*We spent a lovely snowcation in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Here's how I did:
*Get more sleep: While I've been getting into bed earlier, I wouldn't say I'm sleeping much more (and I'll blame that on some seriously good books I've been reading).
*40 miles: This was much easier than I thought it would be! My total mileage ended up being 56 miles.
*Gluten-free for 2 weeks: Well, I did it. And luckily for me, I don't have to give gluten up permanently. Gluten is in so many things! While I didn't miss pasta that much, bread was always on my mind.
*Drink more water: If I can count tea, I think I am drinking more water.
*Finish pantry project: Done.
*Nightly Tidying: Eh--hit and miss on this one. Some nights I did a great job. Other nights I totally forgot. Oh well.
*Organize basement storage: Pretty much done...although I feel like this is an area that needs constant organizing no matter what.
*Tackle our to do list: We are making some serious progress on this one. We're not where we want to be just yet...but we're getting closer.
All in all, not too bad. Farewell January 2013! How was your month? I'll be sharing my goals for February this weekend.
