Bathtub Beauty.

It was an exciting day in our home yesterday. We said goodbye to this lovely pink lady...

...and exchanged it for this pearly white beauty.

And just for further emphasis, here's a side by side comparison:

Don't get me wrong.  Pink bathtubs are pretty cool.  It just wasn't our style.  Our house and most of the houses in our neighborhood are over 100 years old.  And most of them at one time or another have had a tub of an interesting color.  I guess it was all the rage in the 1960s to have a pepto-pink or avocado-green bathroom.

Now? Not so much.

Fortunately Cowboy found a local company that specializes in porcelain resurfacing for bathtubs. Rather than having our pink tub removed and replaced with another (more expensive) tub, our current tub just got a little touch-up.

And we couldn't be happier.
