Weekend...and it's still going!

Happy Monday to ya!  I'm so thankful for Martin Luther King, Jr., our President's inauguration today, and just an extra day away from work.

Here are some highlights from this past weekend...

*I spent another Friday night with my bestie watching recorded Downton Abbey and lots of wedding shows (which will never get old to me). I'm afraid poor Dudley was a bit bored.

*Cowboy & I went out to brunch with friends on Saturday morning. I think my favorite part was the delicious donut bites (with an orange-chocolate dip) we all shared as an appetizer. Definitely a good way to start a meal.

*Our neighbors hosted a neighborhood party and we got a chance to meet a lot of new people. We are so lucky to live in such a friendly place!

*I spent some quality time reading a good book with a cozy blanket. I had forgotten how much I love this.

*Dudley did a little sunbathing in the snow.

*I went to dinner and a movie with my bestie on Sunday night. We saw Les Miserables and LOVED it. I had seen the on-stage musical several times before, and I think the big-screen version was equally as good.

Hope you had (or are having) a good weekend!

Love,
Betty

Dudley is so darn adorable! And what's your favorite wedding show? I think mine is Say Yes to the Dress, Atlanta.
